Welcome to this week’s meeting of the eClub of the State of Jefferson.
I am Bob Gibson, President of the Rotary eClub of State of Jefferson. Welcome to this week’s meeting. I hope this finds you well.
By now, you have received the ballots for our election of Board members and officers and ratification of Bylaws. Please return your response to Jean Hamilton. We are handling the vote in this manner because we didn’t have the required quorum at our Zoom meeting last Saturday. I understand a Zoom meeting on a Saturday morning in December is challenging. “Time” becomes our most valuable asset. Thank you for your assistance with this.
Sunday morning, I attended the general membership meeting of the No Borders Rotaract Club. They held the meeting on a “new-to-me” platform, Discord https://discord.com/ . It was a wonderful meeting that combined fellowship and service. The program was about the challenges of global immunization. It was truly an international meeting. They are maximizing the value and utility of technology to carry on their good work. When you have the opportunity, I encourage you to visit one of their meetings.
