December is Rotary Family Month.
You can see it in their faces. The joy that spills forth as Rotarians take part in service projects, locally or internationally, says volumes
about why more than 1.2 million people around the globe belong to Rotary clubs and are committed to making the world a better place.

that have been added to our Flickr group. Upload a photo of your own. Family Month celebrates the family of Rotary, which, in addition to
individual Rotarians, includes all of those who are involved in Rotary's work from Rotary Foundation program alumni to participants in Rotary youth
programs in thousands of communities around the world. Spouses and children of Rotarians play a vital role in Rotary too. By involving family members, Rotarians make their club meetings and service projects more successful and more enjoyable. Clubs that are family-friendly have an easier time recruiting and keeping members.

Tips for staying connected with your Rotary family:
Rotary programs have a way of forging bonds between alumni and Rotarians that can last a lifetime. Former Ambassadorial Scholars, Group Study Exchange team members, RYLA participants, Rotary Peace Fellows, and Interact club members are often interested in joining a Rotaract or Rotary club.
Many Rotaract and Rotary clubs, in turn, are interested in inviting former program participants to become members.
